Reviewers liked how easy the GE PEB1590SMSS is to use. The combination feature was mentioned as being faster than that of a regular oven. The preprogrammed times cooked well, and preheating was fast. The looks of this appliance were appreciated by many.
Several issues were cited by reviewers. The outside gets hot enough to burn you during some cooking modes. The cooking with convection feature takes longer than with some models, and the browning wasn't as good as a regular oven according to some. The size is not large enough to hold a 9 X 13 pan which could be a problem depending on what you plan to cook. The interior discolored for some users.
Also, some reviewers were not pleased that the power level cannot be adjusted while the unit is cooking. Programming the timer can only be done in 15-second intervals. The control knob on the GE PEB1590SMSS instead of a touchpad was not liked by a few users.
